Senior Engineer : Specialist in Transmission Line

  
    Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Responsible for the supervision of outsourced line maintenance and major equipment overhauls.

  • Responsible for right of way management. 

  • Develop and implement maintenance safety procedures to ensure the safety of personnel and the population at large.

  • Provide training for maintenance personnel so as to ensure safe, efficient and cost effective equipment maintenance.

  • Assist the Procurement unit preparation of tendering documentation and the subsequent bid analysis for the maintenance work

  • Assist Operational Planning in the preparation of the yearly equipment maintenance plan

  • Responsible for supervising the execution of the activities specified in the maintenance program.

  • Responsible for the management and update of the asset register.

    Education and Experience
     

  • Registration as a professional engineer with a minimum of 12 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  •  Solid understanding of a broad field of engineering and knowledge of reciprocal effects of the work upon other disciplines/ fields.

  • Considerable knowledge of the company's established guidelines, procedures and practices as well as other departments, suppliers and contractors.

  • Proficiency in planning and control methods.

  • Solid understanding of industry and regulatory standards and design criteria.  

  • Considerable knowledge of a variety of standard engineering methods and techniques.

 

 AOCG-10     :  Cost & Scheduling Engineer

   JOB QUALIFICATION & DESCRIPTION
   Includes but are not limited to the following:                                               

  • Prepares detailed schedules, cash flows, trend forecasts, contract& budget forecasts, and percent complete calculations.

  • Prepares contract check plans and schedules, preliminary quantity man-loading, cash flows, and progress measurement guide for contracts.

  • Assist in the development and monitor contractors' technical submittal schedule and procurement schedule to ensure contract compliance and construction schedule support.

  • Prepares all the field originated cost/schedule reports. 

  • Reviews all contractor cost/schedule submittals.

  • Monitors contractors performance, manpower, cash flow, interfaces, accommodation forecasts, etc.

  • Participate in any claims assessments, particularly schedule analysis using planning & control software's like Microsoft and Primavera.

  • Prepare necessary reports as required.

  •  Ability to: Communicate effectively, Implement efficiently

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree (preferably Masters Degree)
   in Engineering with 10-15 years of related experience.
