(IFP 68) Engineer - I & II (Protection) Electrical
Job Qualification:
- Recognized training in power system protection. Preference is for standard power system protection courses with reputable company in this field.
- Knowledge of protection system in 132 kV substations and power stations is a must.
- Extensive experience working with electric power utility in protection filed.
- Protection relays setting calculations and testing and commissioning experience is a must.
- Knowledge of numerical relays is preferred.
- Good knowledge in computer preferably in power system computer aided programs and packages, such as MS Office, Psse, Aspen….etc.
Job Description:
- To provide technical service and consultation for the design, specification, installation, maintenance and calibration of protection relays.
- Responsible for approving design of protection schemes.
- To verify and approve CTs and VTs calculations.
- Supervision of installation of protection schemes.
- To approve relay settings calculations.
- Preparation of Test protocols and supervision of testing and commissioning.
- To study and analyze tender documents.
(IFP # 70) Cost Engineer – I
JOB QUALIFICATION & DESCRIPTION:
- Must have five (5) years experience in construction of 132KV and 230KV Substation and Transmission Lines projects.
- Must have five (5) years experience of mastering financial matters and handling cost related activities of projects.
- Will be assigned in Consolidated Transmission Projects Department at Riyadh Office to control the capital and expense type of projects in the vicinity of SEC-Central Region Branch.
- Shall provide specialized services in cost engineering, prepare, review and monitor cost data for capital expenditure.
- Be capable to prepare cost estimate for the budget, contracts, amendments, change orders… etc., in coordination with other project proponents.
- Prepare cost forecasts and ensure appropriate actions are initiated when forecasted cost exceeds allocated funds.
- Have sufficient knowledge of Primavera/Microsoft Project and be able to utilize this software for planning and scheduling of the activities related to planning and budgeting.
- Preferred to be certified cost engineer from AACE.
